I love working with my hands. I am passionate about reducing the carbon footprint and showcasing the maker's handprint in the built environment. I advocate for local fabrication and have experience designing and building straw bale homes. I believe that housing is a human right and that everyone deserves healthy dignified spaces that protect and restore the users and the native ecosystems.
While working as a Designer at MASS’s Kigali office, I supported the design of the Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture and the operations of the MASS.MADE team by producing and installing locally sourced and fabricated furniture and fixtures.
Since moving back to the US, I have supported the design and construction administration for projects in the Mountain West and Great Plains region of Indian Country, including Haven’s Domestic Violence Shelter in Montana, the Barelas Community Kitchen New Mexico, and Caddo Nation’s Child Care Center in Oklahoma.
Before joining MASS in 2018, I was a Global Health Corps Fellow for Archive Global. At Archive. I worked in rural Namibia and Swaziland, training local trade school graduates on housing improvements to promote health. I received my Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Design Degrees with honors from Montana State University.
