Eliminating Malaria with Housing Modifications
I was a Global Health Corps Fellow, in 2016-2017, placed at ARCHIVE Global. ARCHIVE is a nonprofit organization that specializes in the relationship between health and housing. ARCHIVE works in vulnerable environments by providing housing modifications as a key strategy for improving health globally. We use one basic right - housing - to deliver one basic need - health. My work here has included managing projects in Namibia and Swaziland to prevent malaria. I have also been developing projects, a sanitation project in New Delhi, a Chagas project in Bolivia, and a flooring project in Bangladesh.
